The BPH Softball team lost to the 2nd seed LaMonte/Sacred Heart 3-0 in District play, thus ending the season. The girls finished 5-9 on the year and the future is looking very promising for this young group of girls. Thank you Coaches Braby & Bruce for leading the team this year.

The CCR-IV School District is currently accepting sealed bids for a walk-in cooler/freezer unit. The unit is a Kolpak with 19'X10' outside dimensions. Inside has a 5'X9' cooler section and a13'X9' freezer section. There are two rooftop mounted Bohn brand pumps. Bidding will end May 17th. The Bunceton School Academic Banquet is Monday, May 8 starting at 6:00 in the Bunceton School Commons. On this evening we will recognize students in Varsity/Junior High Track and Archery , along with the awards covering all the academic classes. Please bring two covered dishes per family if attending.
The BPH Coop Spring Athletic Banquet will be tomorrow, May 2 at Prairie Home starting at 6:00. You are asked to bring two dishes if attending. Bunceton students will be recognized in Varsity Basketball and Softball which are the sports we are in the coop with.
Tonight BPH Softball has a home game playing Lincoln starting at 5:30. A 3 inning JV game is also scheduled. Tonight is also Senior Night and they will be recognized between games.

The Spring Softball District tournament begins May 5th with Hughesville vs Lakeland at 3:30 PM, Lincoln vs Green Ridge at 6:30 PM, Sacred Heart vs BPH at 5:00 PM, and Malta Bend vs Osceola at 8:00 PM. The second tier resumes May 8th beginning at 5:00 and the top two teams will compete for the championship May 9th at 6:00 PM. We hope to see you there. It's a GREAT day to be a Dragon!
The Spring Instrumental Concert is tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM for grades 5 through 12. Please have your student at school by 6:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you then.
The CCAA Conference Track Meet is tomorrow at Russellville starting at 9:00. Students attending will need to bring money for the concession stand where you can get hamburgers/hotdogs or bring your own sack lunch. Sorry for the late notice.
BPH Softball will play Green Ridge at home tonight in a Varsity only contest beginning at 5:30. This is the only game scheduled for this week. The Tuscumbia game scheduled for later on this week has been cancelled and will not be made up.
Sculpture students are working on their bust sculptures. This quite a challenging and lengthy process but they are doing awesome!
5th, and 6th and 2nd grades went outside for specials with Mrs. Gutierrez and Mrs. Hendrickson. They were demonstrating mindfulness and collaborative community socialization. Students cleared their minds and worked together to great trees and positive messages on the concrete. It was a nice day to get out and have fun together.
