The volleyball girls play tonight at Otterville in a VARSITY only contest starting at 5:30.

We had some exciting volleyball sets at tonight’s season opener at Bunceton. The varsity set scores were 26-24, 10-25, 19-25, 16-25. LaMonte wion the varsity match 3-1. In the Junior Varsity match the scores were 16-25 and 15-25. LaMonte won 2-0. The Varsity travels to Otterville tomorrow night Sept 1 starting at 5:30.

Students in the 3/4 grade classroom got to use their creative skills working in groups! They worked on a skit about how to be proactive in the classroom! Next week they will act their skit out in class. We also learned about our learning type. We had lots of visual and tactile learners!

There was a Covid positive case in the lower elementary today. Please watch your child for symptoms and if your child is sick please keep them home. Remember that students should not return to school until they are fever/symptom free for 24 hours. Thank you.

Open House for Pre K through 12th grade will be Monday, August 22 at 6:30. Come meet the teachers, see the school and grab a hamburger with us! A Booster Club Meeting will take place starting approximately at 7:30 the same evening. We hope to see you then!

Reminder that the Back to School Supply Day/Ice Cream Social for all Bunceton students PreK-12, will be at the Bunceton Federated Church from 2-4:00 on Sunday, August 14. Students should be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you tomorrow.

Volleyball and Baseball practice will begin Monday, August 8. Volleyball will be at Bunceton Gym from 9 till 11:00 AM. Baseball will meet at Prairie Home Field from 8:30 till 10:00 AM. An active physical must be on file before a student may participate. An athlete needs 14 conditioning practices before they are eligible for competitions.
