Bunceton Homecoming 2024 is tonight, February 16. The BPH Girls game will start at 5:30. An Elementary Dance routine will take place between games, and the Varsity Cheerleaders will perform at halftime of the boys game. Coronation activities will take place at the conclusion of the boys game. The Homecoming Dance will close out the evening. Should be a fun night of entertainment and reminiscing for all. Please come join us.

BPH Basketball travels to Community R-6 in Laddonia tonight, January 29, starting at 6:30. The bus will leave Bunceton at 3:30 and Prairie Home at 3:45.

The BPH basketball games scheduled for tonight, Jan 23, will be played as scheduled at Prairie Home. The girls game will start at 6:00 with the boys to follow.
The Booster Club is having a meeting Wednesday, January 24th in the Commons at 6:00, to discuss Homecoming (Feb 16) and Senior Night (Feb 7). Everyone is invited to attend and urged to bring your creative ideas with you. The theme for Homecoming is "Carnival"

Bunceton students and parents, school is in session today, but it is bitterly cold and windy. Please dress appropriately for the weather with hats, coats, and gloves. Stay inside until you see your bus if possible. Staff will be at school early in case you need to drop your off. We look forward to seeing you this morning.

FAFSA Night is scheduled for tonight, January 18 at 6:00PM for Seniors interested in attending college. Parents and students need to bring their FSA ID login information and 2022 tax documentation if possible. Contact Rachel Walker at the school with any questions.

Due to the continuing frigid temperatures and extreme wind chill, and in an effort to ensure the safety of our students and staff, there will be no school tomorrow. These temperatures make it difficult for buses and vehicles to run well. Up to an inch of additional snow is also predicted, so use caution. At this time we plan to have school Wednesday, but please be alert for updates. Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to keep everyone safe.

Dear dragons: With tomorrow’s weather predictions of blustry sleet, snow, and bitter cold, we will observe an AMI day tomorrow. Students were provided assignments and instructions to receive attendance credit for Friday’s at-home assignments. Teachers will answer questions from 8 to 3, so reach out to them if needed. Breakfast and lunch items were sent home with students. The milk will needs refrigerated. Please check backpacks for milk. Tomorrow’s prediction is uncertain, but the safety of our students and staff is paramount! We thank our Dragon families for your flexibility. We’re working to preserve continuous education while maintaining the safety of all.
The BPH Homecoming game at Prairie Home scheduled for Friday, January 12 has been postponed and will be moved to February 9.
Due to hazardous road conditions, drifting snow, snow covered back roads, and freezing temperatures we will be out of school Wednesday, January 10. Please be aware that there is another snow predicted for Thursday night into Friday. If we are out on Friday, we will plan for an AMI day. Students will bring home packets or their Chromebooks to complete Friday's assignments. Students will receive more information on Thursday so they will be adequately prepared.
